What is Joy Rising?
At a time when life is stressful and we are all just trying to make it through the day, Joy Rising exists to break into the mundane and offer the experience of JOY. Through engagement at community events and surprise bursts of pop-up joy, Joy Rising is committed to improving the quality of life for every person with no strings attached. We also know that joy is contagious and that by increasing access to joy we will create a chain reaction that fills our community with hope and life. Joy Rising is the partner of Salem United Methodist Church in Orwigsburg, PA.

Where is God calling you to serve this year?
We are growing and gaining momentum and God is on the move. SO! Our job right now is to continue to nurture that momentum that God is building, because if we get stagnant it will stop. It’s going to take all hands-on deck to carry out the incredible plans that God has for us. What part will you play?
